Irrfan Khan’s Spokesperson Rubbishes Rumours of Actor’s Deteriorating Health in a News Statement
Irffan Khan’s fans have been quite disappointed after the actor got diagnosed with a rare disease called Neuroendocrine tumour. Irrfan informed his fans on Twitter a few weeks ago that he is suffering from a rare disease. Soon, speculations started rolling about the actor having various diseases. However, Irrfan made an official statement on his Twitter account that he has been diagnosed with a rare disease called Neuroendocrine tumour.
The actor moved to London after few days for his treatment. Recently, a journalist reported about the actor’s continuously deteriorating health.  Journalist Umair Sandhu had tweeted that Irrfan’s cancer was in its final stage. He soon deleted his tweet.
However, Irrfan’s spokesperson has cleared the speculations about the actor’s deteriorating health in a new statement.
“This latest round of news being spread through social media in last few days about Irrfan’s health is absolutely false and there’s no truth to it whatsoever. We as his family and friends again request the members of the media to continue their support and the prayers that have come Irrfan’s way,” the spokesperson stated.
He further added, “However it’s not right to spread rumours through mediums of social media without fact check or any official validation. In the meanwhile once again we request everyone to refrain from picking up social media statuses as affirmative developments on someone’s health.”

On the work front, Irrfan had completed Abhinay Deo directorial ‘Blackmail’ before heading to London for his treatment. The film is running successfully at the box office. While his upcoming Vishal Bhardwaj’s film, also starring Deepika Padukone has been put on hold. The filmmaker announced on his Twitter account that as soon as the actor gets healthy, he will kickstart the shoot.
